Many of us want to make a difference close to home — to join God’s work in meaningful ways, connect with others, and see how God is already at work right here in our city.

That’s what the 2-2-1 Initiative is all about.

As part of our Good News about the Good News series, we’re inviting everyone at The Bridge to take two simple next steps:

 Give one evening to each of our two ministry partners — Johnston Partnership and ICOACH.


Why Participate?

You’ll have the chance to:

  • See firsthand how The Bridge and our partners serve our local community.
  • Meet people whose lives are being impacted.
  • Experience the joy that comes when you join in God’s work in everyday places.
  • Explore how your gifts and passions fit into God’s bigger story in our city.


How to Show Up

When you participate, we invite you to:

  • Be present – bring your whole self and an open heart.
  • Be curious – listen, learn, and ask questions.
  • Be the bridge – take part in connecting love to real needs.
  • Be changed – let what you experience grow your faith and compassion.


This isn’t a sales pitch or a long-term commitment.

It’s a chance to move from wondering how you can participate in the good news to seeing how God is already building bridges of love, compassion, and transformation all around us.

And as a bonus — you’ll meet others from The Bridge and discover how we’re serving the community together.


Partner One: ICOACH

Every Tuesday night, volunteers from The Bridge join ICOACH to provide supper, tutoring, and a fun space for learning.

 You and your family can help with setup, bring food, serve in the kitchen, help with tutoring in reading or math, or help tear down.
